Warm, glass-clear lagoons and world-class channel dives

Where it all begins. Maafushi Island — a quick speedboat from Malé — hosts the first descent: shallow-lagoon DJ sessions, eco-sound healing dive rituals, and a silent disco on a private sandbank. The year closes here too, with a premium resort finale.

  • Night dives at Maaya Thila, circled by reef white-tips
  • Nurse sharks & stingrays drifting past at Alimatha
  • Bodu Beru drumming into a beachfront cultural dinner

  • Wreck descent at King Cruiser, reef runs at Shark Point
  • Thai fire dance & DJ sets on Kata sand
  • Temple visits and Thai massage between dives

Havelock & Neil Island — the strongest visibility of the year

The dive-focused edition. Jungle meets white sand meets shallow reef, with the season's best conditions — 20 to 30 metres of visibility — and barely another boat in sight. Built with local dive resorts and tourism partners, for the divers who came to dive.

  • Manta cleaning stations at Elephant Beach & The Wall
  • Mangrove kayaking and bioluminescence beach nights
  • Untouched reefs off Diglipur, in the far north

Volcanic coastlines from Canggu to Uluwatu

The adventure-and-mindfulness edition. Beach-club culture by day, temple silhouettes at dusk, volcano treks between dives. Bali leans DeepBeat toward wellness and wild nature without losing the beat.

  • Balinese temple dance & a traditional Hindu blessing
  • Rice terrace visits & local artisan workshops
  • Volcano treks between Canggu and Uluwatu dives

The First Year

Twelve months. Six editions. One tide.

The calendar follows the water: each edition lands where the season is at its best, from the Maafushi launch to the luxury Maldives finale. Maafushi goes first because it’s the easiest descent — simple logistics, a full menu of alternate water activities for anyone not diving — built so a first tribe of a hundred can join at any stage of the year and still feel like they arrived on time.
